Health Care as a Human Right Lobby Day

Wednesday, February 7, 2018 - 6:00pm
Oregon State Capitol, Hearing Room E • 900 Court St NE, Salem OR

Health Care for All Oregon is holding a lobby day in Salem for the special hearing of the House Health Care Committee at which Representative Mitch Greenlick's "Hope Amendment," HJR 203, will be read. This would amend Oregon constitution to declare healthcare a fundamental right. HCAO is asking supporters to "pack the room" (Hearing Room E of the State Capitol) in support of the amendment at 6 p.m.

There is a regular House Health Care Committee Meeting at 3 pm in Hearing Room E for HB 4018, the CCO Reform Bill HCAO is supporting. You can also arrange separately to meet with your local represenatives and senators; use the HCAO sign-up form to find out who represents you in Salem.

Room 243 at the Capitol is reserved, 9am to 5 pm, for packet pick up and a place to connect.

Register with HCAO here to attend, find out more on Facebook, or contact HCAO Eugene Chair Lou Sinniger at 541-954-2356 or to arrange for a carpool or learn more about scheduling meetings with your legislators.
