A memorial celebration for former Democratic Party of Oregon Chair Meredith Wood Smith will take place this afternoon at Maranatha Church in Portland. Anyone who wants to come will belong.

The Meredith Wood Smith Grassroots Leadership Institute (“Meredith Institute”) is being established by the DPO in her honor to make sure local party leaders have opportunities for training and consultation, including support for accessing state party events and conventions.
