City Club of Eugene: State of the UO with Michael Schill

  • UO Baker Center 975 High St. Eugene, OR 97401 (map)

The City Club presents a discussion with UO President Michael Schill.

From the City Club's website:

Think of Eugene and you think of the University of Oregon. Mention the UO and Eugene comes to mind. We are a “college town” and what affects one also impacts the other. At City Club of Eugene on Jan.11, UO President Schill will discuss the recent past and future of the relationship between town and gown. What plans are being made? What changes can we expect? He will discuss funding challenges to Oregon’s public universities, the status of building projects and plans to attract a world-class faculty. Do not miss the opportunity to hear this perspective on our collective future and to address your questions to President Schill.

The event is free to City Club members; admission for the public is $5. Lunch is available for $15 for members and $17 for guests. A cookie and coffee/tea option is also available for $5/$7.
