Join the Oregon Criminal Defense Law Students Association, Oregonians Against the Death Penalty, the National Lawyers Guild UO Chapter, and Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association for a screening of "In the Executioner's Shadow,” a film about justice, injustice, and the death penalty.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Aba Gayle, a mother of a murder victim; Frank Thompson, the last superintendent to execute someone in Oregon; Professor Kristen Bell; and Renée Manes, an Assistant Federal Public Defender handling death penalty-eligible cases in Portland.
