The Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics presents Sarah E. Igo, history professor, director of the American studies program, and faculty director of the E. Bronson Ingram College at Vanderbilt University.
Igo's work focuses on modern American cultural and intellectual history, the history of the human sciences, the sociology of knowledge, and the history of the public sphere. She is the author of two books, "The Averaged American: Surveys, Citizens, and the Making of a Mass Public," and "The Known Citizen: A History of Privacy in Modern America."
