SURJ Springfield-Eugene and the Central Presbyterian Church, present a fundraiser for Winnemem Wintu and information about the negative impacts of raising the Shasta Dam.

The evening will feature Winnemem Wintu spoken word artist Michael Preston and tribal member and community activist Misa Joo, with introductions by Ruth Koenig and the presentation of a short film by award winning filmmaker Will Doolittle.

The event will also feature poet Ingrid Wendt, with a Solidarity Greeting from Salmon Sami representatives from Norway, Harald Gaski and Siri Gaski and music by Chilean guitarist and composer Ricardo Cárdenas
