350 EUG and Beyond Toxics are hosting their third Climate Town Hall.
What is the hardest nut to crack? Our carbon footprint from consumption! Luckily, the state of Oregon and the City of Eugene are leaders when it comes to identifying and making plans to decrease consumption.
This summer’s Climate Town Hall will be about taking it to the next level: action. The keynote speaker is Babe O'Sullivan from Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, followed by four expert panelists from BRING, Better Housing Together, Sustainable Eating, and Sharing Economy.
You’ll be among the first to join the launch of an exciting community project to create friendly competition and fun while we learn about and commit to bring our own emissions into line with what the earth can support.
The event starts at 6:00 with a Thrifting Fashion Show, guest chefs, musical guests, and tabling from members of our city’s robust sharing economy.
