Join the City Club of Eugene for a forum with the candidates running for Eugene City Council, Wards 2 and 7. Time in this program will be divided evenly between the Ward 2 and Ward 7 races.

Ward 2 includes southeast Eugene and is currently represented by Betty Taylor, who is retiring. Kate Davidson and Matt Keating are running to fill the seat. More information about the candidates is available on the City Club’s website.

Ward 7 covers north central Eugene and includes the Trainsong, Whitaker, River Road, and Santa Clara neighborhoods. Three candidates are seeking the position: Claire Syrett, the incumbent; Doug Barr; and Cliff Gray. Find out more about the candidates here.

Scott Coltrane, President-elect of City Club, will moderate this program. Candidates in each race were allotted equal allotted time for presentations and asked the same questions.
