Using Your Voice for Racial Justice: a Conversation with Ruby Bridges-Hall

United Way of Lane County invites you to a virtual conversation with civil rights advocate Ruby Bridges-Hall about racial justice and how you can advance equity and inclusion in Lane County.

At only six years old, Ruby Bridges became an icon in the civil rights movement when she stepped foot into William Frantz Elementary School – single-handedly initiating the desegregation of New Orleans’s public schools in 1960.

As part of this event, Ruby will help United Way launch UWLC’s new Racial Justice Fund, leveraging and investing resources directly for communities of color here in Lane County.

Register for the virtual event here. Tickets are $10.
