Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, LTD bus drivers have experienced loss of ridership, service cuts, layoffs, driver shortages, bus capacity restrictions, mask requirements, sanitizing protocols, and more.

Through it all, these front line workers have continued to get people—many lacking other options—to school, work, shopping, medical appointments, and more.

Invited community speakers will express their appreciation for bus drivers and underscore the importance of public transit to our community.
