Fossil Free Eugene Public Testimony @ City Council Meeting

Cascadia Wildlands encourages you to provide public testimony to the Eugene City Council about climate change, use of fossil fuels and natural gas infrastructure.

From Cascadia Wildlands:

Now is the time to move away from fossil fuels and ban new “natural” gas infrastructure in Eugene. After another summer of historic wildfire, drought, and heatwaves, it’s more important than ever for all levels of government to take this kind of necessary bold action in order to address the climate crisis.

That’s why Cascadia Wildlands has been working with a coalition of organizations across the city to push for a Fossil Free Eugene — and we need your help.

On Monday, September 13 @ 7:30 p.m. the Eugene City Council will accept public testimony and we need community members to take a stand for our climate and our health and safety, and tell city leaders to ban new “natural” fossil gas infrastructure.

Zoom information for the meeting is here.
