Novelist Silvia Moreno-Garcia, author of "Mexican Gothic," "Velvet Was the Night," and "The Daughter of Doctor Moreau," will be at the Eugene Public Library for a free talk and Q&A.

Moreno-Garcia has won the Locus, British Fantasy, and Pacific Northwest Book awards as a novelist, and the World Fantasy Award as an editor.
