The City of Eugene and the Fair Housing Council of Oregon are hosting a training covering fair housing laws and their impact on shelter providers. This training will focus on the broad coverage of fair housing laws, as well as specifics that may impact shelter providers, such as best practices for applicant prioritization, policies and procedures around disability accommodations, and issues that may come up regarding gender, sexuality, and familial status for clients.
