Eugene Save Our Services Meet and Greet

  • Oregon Wine Lab 488 Lincoln Street Eugene, OR, 97401 United States (map)

You are invited to join non-profit leaders, union leaders, and elected officials in defending city services including libraries, fire services, animal welfare services, and homeless outreach.

The Eugene City Council recently passed a Fire Fee to expand fire service and reduce cuts to other programs. The Chamber of Commerce is trying to overturn this new funding source, which would lead to $11.5 million in cuts across all City Departments.

Join community leaders Reverend Dan Bryant, Executive Director of Greenhill Humane Society Cary Lieberman, and Executive Director of the Eugene Library Foundation Dana Fleming and City Councilors Jennifer Yeh, Eliza Kashinsky, and Lyndsie Leech to learn about the services the fire fee helps fund and what you can do to preserve these services.
